Potteries/Adopt a building
From Stoke-on-Trent
[edit] Old factory above Hanley
My building will be the huge old factory overlooking Hanley and I think it will be filled with live-work units (big warehouse conversion woody apartments, natch) for artists and creative types (with working kilns, if that's still possible) in the usual half social housing, half fantastically expensive mix with a marvellous big atrium-type hall in the centre for little children to dance and suchlike and the centre area to be converted into a lovely communal garden with fishes. Our proposals to go en masse to the mayor, the European funding places etc etc. ClareWhite 10:21, 28 Sep 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Your building here
I vote that instead of adopting old buildings, we just nuke Stoke on trent, preferably with a B-51Thermonuclear Bomb but then again even a few Trebuchets would do.. There would be no harm done and we could start again trying to make a nice city.
My only concern is that the secret ingredients for Oatcakes could be lost forever...
